The house is the first floor of a "gaioleiro" building situated on the edge St. George Castle's east wall. Original Plans.

A set of new elements made of painted or exposed wood, which do not seem to touch the floor, walls and ceilings reorganize the house and the connection between its spaces, the bathroom and the kitchen. Plan.

A door, discovered in the original building project, was reopened, transforming the visual relation between the various rooms, and above all allowing one to walk through the house in multiple ways. (photo: Tomoya Fujimoto)
